After realising the battery had died in my OSCar synthesiser, my attempts to try to resurrect the internal sounds fell short due to my very limited knowledge of anything that requires programming or MIDI intervention.
When I turned on the OSCar so an engineer could re-add the sysex file to the eprom, it was playing itself, completely randomly. So I decided to leave it, record it, and we go get lunch instead.
When we returned, I edited the take down to three separate parts, and combined them. Apart from levels, pan automation, some reverb and delay, that's my only creative input. This song was gifted to us, I did nothing other than instruct the engineer to hit record.
